Gurugram, Sep 15 (IANS) The 36-year-old wife of a Haryana Police head constable allegedly died by suicide in Gurugram late on Monday night.
The deceased, identified as Chanchal, jumped off the seventh floor of a residential tower located in district police lines.
Chanchal originally hailed from Hansi in Hisar district of Haryana, the police said on Tuesday.
According to the police, head constable Rajesh Saini lives along with his family in Tower-C at the police lines and was posted at the Udyog Vihar police station.
Preliminary investigations suggest a family dispute could be the reason behind the extreme step.

The investigation team didn’t recover any suicide note from the victim’s possession. Rajesh had reportedly been absent from duty for two days.
